Frequently Asked Questions
-
Sculpt Method is a boutique Lagree strength studio coming to Franklin Lakes, NJ. Our classes are designed to be high-intensity, low-impact, and full-body — using slow, controlled movement to build strength, endurance, balance, and core stability.
-
Lagree is a strength-based workout performed on a Megaformer. It uses resistance, slow tempo, and time under tension to create the deep burn and full-body shake Lagree is known for.
It is low-impact on the joints but very challenging for the muscles.
-
No. Lagree is often compared to Pilates because it uses a machine and controlled movements, but it is not traditional Pilates.
Lagree is more strength-focused, higher intensity, and designed to challenge your full body through resistance training, core work, and slow, intentional movement.
-
No. Beginners are welcome.
Every class will offer guidance, modifications, and options so you can move at your own level. The workout is challenging, but you do not need to be “in shape” before you start.
-
Your membership begins when Sculpt Method opens and classes begin—not while we're under construction.
-
You'll reserve classes through our booking app. Members will be able to book in advance, manage memberships, join waitlists and more!
-
Yes. Lagree is low-impact, meaning there is no jumping or high-impact pounding on the joints.
That said, low-impact does not mean easy. The slow pace and resistance make it intense in a different way.
